The Atomos Shogun Studio 2 is the second generation of the Atomos rack-mount recording system. This version is based on the Shogun 7 monitor recorder and can handle an impressive 10 streams of recording. Eight of those are individual iso camera feeds and two are program outputs.
All the usual Shogun 7 tools like false colour and scopes are accessible, as well as the ability to switch sources using the panels’ touchscreens.
The routing and arrangement of the various I/O options looks neat, and it fits into the same 3U footprint as the original Shogun Studio.
The Atomos Shogun Studio 2 will retail for $3,699 US.
