LensFinder exits beta, adds ability to buy & sell filters

Lensfinder exits beta

After launching in late 2017, LensFinder has now exited beta and has added the ability to buy & sell filters. While there are now other marketplaces like ShareGrid’s selling platform, LensFinder focuses exclusively on lenses & filters, in particular, rare and vintage glass.

What is LensFinder?

LensFinder is an online marketplace for photographers and cinematographers to buy, sell and learn about new, used, vintage and boutique lenses and filters.

There are no fees to list products, instead, a final transaction sale of 3.99% when a sale is made. The fee is capped at $500. Sellers are vetted and various payment methods are offered for security and convenience.

As with any marketplace, it’s critical that you do your own checks, we’ve heard way too many horror stories of those selling/buying gear online whether it’s on Craigslist, Facebook or on a forum.

You can learn more about the buying & selling process here.
