Hollyland has introduced its new LARK A2, a low-cost wireless microphone system designed for content creators. It was designed to be small and compact so it can be clipped on and used quickly.
The system has a claimed operating range of up to 200m (LOS).
It could be used for anything from vlogs to live streams and short videos. The LARK A2 features 3 levels of AI-driven noise cancellation, which are claimed to deliver up to 20 dB of noise cancellation. There are also up to 6 levels of gain adjustment if you use the HollyAudio App. Hollyland also states that in the HollyAudio App, the AI-powered tuning can automatically optimize your EQ, compression, and de-essing.
The LARK A2 transmitter weighs 8.5g and the system is pre-paired out of the box.
The LARK A2 is claimed to provide up to 7 hours of continuous recording per mic, and up to 42 hours of total battery life with the charging case. With the AI power saving enabled, battery performance can be further enhanced, extending each mic’s runtime up to 9 hours.
A 5-minute USB-C charge powers the mic for 1 hour of shooting, while the charging case delivers the same 1-hour runtime with just 10 minutes of charging.
LARK A2 can manage power in the background to improve power efficiency. When idle, the system automatically enters a low-power state to reduce power consumption, and there is also an instant wake function.
There is also independent TX/RX mute control via onboard buttons, pass-through charging, MFi-certified compatibility, and plug-free playback.
