Angelbird introduces ARRI Edition AV PRO AR 256GB CFast 2.0 card

ARRI cameras don’t use off the shelf media. They have to be approved and certified by ARRI. If you try to use off the shelf media the camera won’t record. While this makes the media used more expensive it also ensures that it works.Anglebird arri cfast2-memory-card-by-angelbird

Today Anglebird introduces the new ARRI Edition AV PRO AR 256 CFast 2.0 card for use with ARRI digital camera systems ALEXA Mini and AMIRA and can be used for ProRes and MXF/ARRIRAW recording. Support for new CFast 2.0 cards is currently not planned for ALEXA XT, SXT(W), and LF cameras.

Anglebird ARRI Cfast

Anglebird developed an ARRI-specific card that uses a combination of thermally conductive material and so-called underfill, to provide superior heat dissipation from the chips, and to secure the electronic components against mechanical damage. This results in a rock-solid 256 GB CFast 2.0 card, with very stable recording performance all the way across the storage space, making it a good fit for the ALEXA Mini or AMIRA camera setup.
