Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 captured on the RED DRAGON VV sensor

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was the first feature film captured with the RED DRAGON VV sensor. In this BTS, Guardians’ director James Gunn and director of photography Henry Braham BSC discuss their vision for the movie and the experience they wanted to give viewers.

James and Henry wanted to portray a larger-than-life adventure and thought that the compact form factor and large sensor size of the WEAPON 8K VV made it the right camera to capture the immersive experience they desired.

Director of photography Henry Braham BSC wanted a camera that he could use in scenarios where a lot of movement was required in sometimes tight spaces.
