PhotoPlus Expo 2013: News Shooter looks at the Nikon D5300, their smallest dslr from Chuck Fadely on Vimeo.
On the floor of PhotoPlus Expo in New York, Nikon showed us their new $800 D5300 camera body, which is the smallest and lightest dslr they make. It does 1080/60p video as well as 24p & 25p, along with 50p and 30p – it’s a world camera. It has built-in wifi and gps as well. You can read the specs here. It will ship in November.
We also got to see their new $1700 normal lens – a 58mm f/1.4.
