Newsshooter contributor Clinton Harn has been lucky enough to get some time with the new Zeiss 28-80mm and 70-200mm T2.9 Compact zooms. These are not regular stills lenses but rather proper cine zooms of extremely high quality. Of course lenses of this ilk come at a price and this pair costs around $20K a piece. Even so they are backordered pretty much everywhere right now and hard to buy even if you have the cash. I only wish I could afford them!

Clinton shot the piece using a RED Scarlet, 2 Zeiss Compact Zooms: 28-80mm & 70-200mm T2.9 & a Compact Prime 15mm T2.9. Footage was shot in RAW on Red Log with REC 6:1, at various frame rates, from 2 to 4K, and rescaled to 1080p in post. Color correction and grading was done using REDCINE X pro source settings in Adobe Premiere.
