A plea from the whole Newsshooter team – the next time you have five minutes downtime could you fill in a survey for us? Maybe you’re waiting for a render bar to inch its way towards the right of your screen. Perhaps you’re offloading a terabyte of rushes and need something to occupy your fingers for a few minutes.
If so, the Newsshooter reader survey is here to help!
This is your chance to tell us what we are doing right, and what we could improve on. Are you interested in VR? audio? lighting? what really floats your boat?
We really want to make sure that we’re writing the right sort of article for you, and ensure that our content and the advertising around it is what you are looking for. We’ve put together a short questionnaire that will help us with both. None of the information you give us will be used for any other purpose and it will all be anonymised, but when aggregated together it will allow us to get a snapshot of who’s reading the site in 2016 and why. You can skip questions you don’t want to answer and you don’t even have to tell us who you are, unless you want to win something. Yes! Prizes!
As a thank you for taking the survey you’ll be entered into a draw to win some prizes from the generous folks at Rode. There will be two prize packs – the first is a Newsshooter Kit with a Reporter mic, which has only just started shipping, so if you’re our lucky winner you should get it before it’s even available to buy! There’s also an NTG4+ microphone up for grabs, together with the new Rycote Lyre SM3R shock mount.
Taking the survey will only take five minutes of your time and will help us make Newsshooter even better. It will be live from today for two weeks, and prize winners will be announced after the survey has closed.
