The TTArtisan AF 24mm F3.8 is a new full-frame Sony E-mount AF lens that can be purchased for under $100 USD. It is a very small and compact, pancake-style prime lens that would be a decent option for use with gimbals, etc.
The lens is extremely lightweight, and it weighs in at just 57g / 2 oz.
The AF24mm F3.8 features a VCM autofocus motor, which is claimed to provide fast, accurate, and quiet focusing.
The optical design consists of 6 elements in 6 groups, including two ED elements and two ASPH elements.
The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 30 cm / 11.8″. According to TTARTISAN, the AF24mm F3.8 provides classic styling with modern optics.
Competition arguably comes in the form of the Viltrox 28mm f/4.5 and Samyang 24mm f/2.8.
