Motorized Precision EVA– a Compact Robotic Camera System for Smartphones & Mirrorless Cameras

At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam. Motorized Precision was showing its new EVA, a compact robotic camera system for smartphones and mirrorless cameras. EVA starts at $7,499 USD, and it provides high-end 6-axis motion control for lightweight, on-the-go productions.

The cost of entry continues to fall for robotic camera systems, and you can now create complex, repeatable moves that previously were prohibitively expensive to do.

EVA was designed to bring the precision and repeatability of MP’s larger cinema robots to smaller, faster-moving productions. It has a 2 kg / 4.4 lb payload capacity, 500 mm / 19.7 in of reach, and ±0.05 mm repeatability. EVA only weighs 11kg / 24.25 lb.

EVA will fit in tight spaces, and it is easy to travel with. Despite its small size, it still delivers the programmable, repeatable motion that separates robotic camera moves from handheld or manual slider work.

Mounting-wise, it can be adapted to just about anything. It features four bolts, but it can be used on tables, tripods, etc.

EVA can be controlled via software using a computer or even through an iPhone, iPad, or Android device for complete wireless and portable control.
