It has been a while since ZHIYUN released a gimbal, and now they have announced the WEEBILL 5. It is being touted as a next-generation gimbal with long battery life and fast balancing and setup.
It features a new handgrip, integrated fill light, 1.8″ touchscreen, and wireless camera control.

The WEEBILL 5 has been redesigned with a built-in handgrip to provide a better handheld experience and to make the operating experience more comfortable.
The gimbal can support payloads of up to 6.6 lb / 2.94 kg. This allows it to be used with quite a awide array of mirrorless hybrids and some samll sized digital cinema cameras.
Users can switch between static, overhead, and low-angle shots without the need to remove or add anything to the gimbal. The built-in handgrip is claimed to lower the center of gravity.
The handgrip also transforms into an extension pole, allowing you to get overhead shots.
According to ZHIYUN, the gimbal uses a next-generation stabilization algorithm that improves movement quality while keeping the unit compact and lightweight.
There is a small integrated fill light that you can use.

The redesigned dual-layer quick release plate provides fast mounting of the upper and lower plates, eliminating the need to re-level when you remount your camera. The upper plate features an Arca-type plate that can be used with a variety of standard Arca-type gear.
The built-in wireless Bluetooth gives users the ability to remote control your camera’s shutter via onboard buttons. Control for both the gimbal and your camera is possible by connecting a USB camera control cable. You have the ability to use gestures to start or pause tracking and adjust framing. The gimbal can be connected to the ZY Play smartphone app via Wi-Fi.
There is a large, 1.8″ touchscreen, joystick, and control wheel. Additionally, the trigger button can be customized so you can access a mode of your choice.
With a separately available AI tracking module, the WEEBILL 5 is claimed to provide long-range AI tracking at distances of up to 32.8′ / 10m, with a near-instant lock-on response time of 0.2 seconds or less.
Two built-in 2600mAh batteries are claimed to power the WEEBILL 5 for up to nine hours. The USB-C port supports PD fast charging to the gimbal, which can be recharged in two hours.
You can mount the gimbal onto the included mini tripod, and the 1/4″-20 bottom thread can also be used for alternate mounting.
There are also two 1/4″-20 expansion threads on the handle for additional accessory mounting options.
A new three-mode gimbal switch lets you change modes quickly. The mode settings are fully customizable, and each mode features independent handling parameters to match different operating preferences.
