Atomos ATOMOSphere Integrates with ShotPut Studio

ShotPut

Atomos ATOMOSphere now features an integration with ShotPut Studio to help automate cloud media workflows. The new integration sends camera originals and proxies directly to ATOMOSphere while adding certified Apple ProRes RAW decoding.

This integration was designed to give production teams a faster, more automated way to transfer, transcode, and organize media.

If you are not familiar with ShotPut Studio, it is a software solution that enables automated copying, verification, uploading, reporting, and transcoding, all combined into a single interface.

Key features

  • Connect ShotPut Studio directly to ATOMOSphere
  • Access workspaces, projects and folders within the ATOMOSphere interface
  • Send camera originals and proxies to ATOMOSphere automatically
  • Build repeatable transfer, verification, and transcoding workflows
  • Decode ProRes RAW to H.264, H.265 or other ProRes codecs

Users can now connect ShotPut Studio directly to their ATOMOSphere account and access ATOMOSphere workspaces, projects and folders from within the ShotPut Studio interface. Projects and subfolders can then be added as destinations in automated workflows, allowing camera originals and proxy files to be sent directly to ATOMOSphere.

The ShotPut Studio integration helps move camera media to the cloud by bringing file transfer, verification, transcoding, and delivery into a single automated workflow. Instead of manually copying and uploading files in separate stages, users can build repeatable workflows that deliver content to the appropriate ATOMOSphere destination.

The whole idea behind this integration and collaboration with ShotPut Studio is to automate repetitive media-management tasks to reduce manual handling, maintain a consistent folder structure, and make footage available to collaborators sooner. Camera originals can be securely transferred to ATOMOSphere while smaller proxy files are generated and delivered for remote review or editorial workflows.
