IDX has launched the CA-50 external power supply adapter for the SSP-50 (GUARDIANmini) mobile battery. It is only available in a limited production run.

The CA-50 is a dedicated attachment cage designed to house the SSP-50 (GUARDIAN mini) portable battery when using it as an external power source for a camera, etc. It features a clamping mechanism that securely holds the battery in place.

The screw-mounted section on the base incorporates a sliding mechanism, allowing the mounting position to be adjusted to accommodate cameras from a wide range of manufacturers.

By using the included V-lock bracket, it can also be mounted onto rig systems or V-mount compatible equipment.

Pricing & availability

The IDX CA-50 external power supply adapter for the SSP-50 (GUARDIANmini) mobile battery retails for ¥12,100 (¥11,000 excluding tax).
