Equipped with a Battery Management System (BMS), it controls overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, and cell temperature management.
The built-in LCD screen displays battery capacity, input/output voltage and power, charge/discharge time, cycle count and internal temperature. It communicates with SMBUS (System Management Bus)-compatible cameras, such as those from RED and Sony, and can display battery information on the camera’s screen.
The USB Type-C port, which supports both input and output, is compatible with PD 100W; using a compatible cable allows for 100W fast charging of devices. The V-mount section features 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threaded holes, enabling the attachment of accessories.

The plate enables power supply to the EOS C400 via a 4-pin XLR connection and is secured to the camera body with four screws. It can also be used in conjunction with genuine Canon batteries.
The back of the plate features a 1/4-inch threaded hole, allowing it to be mounted in any desired position, such as on a rig. It is equipped with two D-Tap terminals and can also supply power to other devices.
