Folding TWIST Mount EVF
The Folding TWIST Mount EVF builds on its predecessor by adding a pivoting folding mechanism. This allows users to fold a monitor flat for easier bag storage. The mount is compatible with existing TWIST Mount spuds and can be configured for both underslung and top-mounted positions. It is available in a wide array of configurations.
The folding knuckle features a spud design, which means you can unlock the thumb screw to separate the components. By doing this, it reveals a 15mm rod opening that lets you integrate a 15mm rod into your configuration if required.
If you are a BURANO owner, it is advisable to stick with the original pivot design rather than the folding version, as the original allows for the specific movement and tilt positioning required for the camera’s viewfinder and loop setup.
8-inch TWIST Mount NATO Rail
The new 8-inch TWIST Mount NATO Rail is an upgrade from the previous 6-inch version. By adding two inches, the rail provides increased reach and better positioning options. This is good news when using cameras like the Sony FX6 that have fixed rod clamps.
The 8-inch TWIST Mount NATO Rail features variable friction, allowing for adjustments without needing to manipulate thumb screws.
The TWIST Mount EVF Kit with Knuckle includes the Double Sided NATO Rail to 15mm Rod, which can attach to a sideways 15mm rod clamp like the optional items Multi-Function Rod Bracket (MFRB 15mm LW), Single 15mm Rod Clamp (M4 x 20mm), or Canon 1/4-20 Striped Rosette 15mm Rod Clamp (sold separately). Available in the original 6″ NATO Rail or a longer 8″ NATO Rail.
The NATO rail has built-in variable friction via the thumbscrew, and safety pins are on each end to prevent accidental accessory removal.
Combine with any NATO standard clamp, like the TWIST Mount EVF Knuckle or items included with many camera kits, like the Sony Burano EVF mount and Canon C400 monitor arm.
