Tilta has introduced its new Foldable Charging Station for L-Series/NP-F (6-channel). It allows users to charge up to six NP-F batteries simultaneously, including NP-F970, NP-F750, NP-F570, and NP-F550 batteries, without the constant swapping required by traditional chargers.
You can choose between Standard Mode and Fast-Charge Mode. Standard Mode charges all six batteries evenly, while Fast-Charge Mode prioritizes the three most charged batteries first, getting them back into your kit sooner before topping off the remaining three. In Fast-Charge Mode, three NP-F970 batteries can reach full charge in approximately 5 hours and 11 minutes. While total charging time for all six batteries is slightly longer than Standard Mode.
There is a TFT color display that provides real-time charging information for each battery independently, including channel labels and a low-battery warning indicator that turns orange when charge levels drop below 10%.
An active cooling system monitors temperature in real time, automatically engaging the fan when needed and reducing charging current if temperatures become too high.
There are also built-in protection circuits that guard against under-voltage, over-voltage, short-circuit, and overcharging.
The charging station also has a low-voltage recovery mode that can help revive NP-F batteries left unused for extended periods. The charger is compatible with PD, QC, and other mainstream fast-charging protocols.
