HAWK TAKA Spherical Primes

HAWK is teasing new TAKA Spherical Primes. This new range consists of 10 focal lengths, and they all cover an image circle of 66mm.

Taka is commonly written in Japanese as 鷹, meaning “Hawk”.

There is currently no more information about these lenses, but they are expected to be available in mid 2027.

These look like they will be a nice addition to the HAWK lineup. HAWK already has the MHX and VantageOne4 spherical primes that cover large format, so it will be interesting to see what the concept and look are of the TAKA series.
