Sony has launched two new True RGB TVs, the Bravia 9 II and Bravia 7 II, as well as the entry-level Bravia 3 II.
The Bravia 9 II and Bravia 7 II TVs utilize a newly evolved RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro built which is claimed to have been built on two decades of innovation. Sony’s True RGB is three independently controlled RGB LEDs. The new technology is claimed to offer viewers unprecedented color volume, precise color gradation, and a significantly wider viewing angle.
True RGB TVs use real-time sensing to optimize brightness and color tone automatically. By detecting ambient light and LED efficiency, it fine-tunes the picture.
It doesn’t look like Sony will be releasing any new OLED TVs in 2026, and if you prefer OLED, Sony’s best option is still the Bravia 8 II. The biggest current issue with OLED technology is when it comes to size and brightness.
BRAVIA 9 Mark II True RGB
The BRAVIA 9 Mark II True RGB is being touted as Sony’s flagship TV for 2026. It is claimed to offer reference-level brightness and high color volume.
The Bravia 9 II is available in sizes ranging from 65″ up to a whopping 115″. Prices range from $3,599 USD up to $30,999.99 USD for the 115″.
The Mirage Stand combines slim steel with a transparent lens panel, concealing cables completely from view so the TV appears to float. Mirror-polished pillars catch and reflect light, allowing the stand to blend into its surroundings. Cables are subtly integrated into the stand’s design.

The BRAVIA 3 Mark II is claimed to offer increased realism, higher contrast, and large screen options (up to 100 inches). It features the XR processor, Dolby Vision support, and HDMI 2.1 for 4K120 gaming.
