The Thypoch 24-50mm f/2.8 is a full-frame autofocus constant-aperture zoom lens for Sony E-mount, representing a major milestone as the first Chinese-made AF zoom in this category. Designed with a sleek aesthetic and internal zooming, it’s a compact, lightweight option for all photography and would work well for video too; however, the aperture ring is not clickless for smooth transitions between f-stops.
While the first release is only for E-mount, they plan on releasing more options in the future.

Key features
- Autofocus & Performance: First-ever AF lens, from DZOFilm
- Constant Aperture: A constant aperture across the zoom range ensures consistent exposure and depth-of-field control.
- Design & Build: The lens features an internal zoom mechanism; it does not extend during zooming. Includes an aperture ring and a physical MF/AF switch.
- Light weight

DZOfilm states that autofocusing is very fast and compares well with native Sony E-mount lenses. It’s very light, and with a 24-50 and a constant f/2.8, it’s a great walking lens.
