Sony has released the Monitor & Control App Ver. 2.6.0. Recording functionality has been added, which enables the direct saving of monitored video to the device’s internal storage; however, please be aware that this is only available to Paid Plan users.

- Multi-camera monitoring connectivity has been improved as follows
- Connected cameras now automatically reconnect if the connection is interrupted
- Sorting by camera name is now implemented
- The number of connected and detected cameras can now be displayed
- A feature that turns off Live View for more stable control has been added
- The maximum number of TOOL favourites that can be registered has been increased from 3 to 6
