Sony has released the FX3 Firmware Update Ver. 7.02. This is a minor update that only improves the camera’s overall performance and stability.
It comes almost 6 months after they released the major Ver. 7.02 update that added the BIG6 setting to the home screen, which brought it into line with other digital cinema cameras in Sony’s lineup.
It also added 1.5x and 1.6x anamorphic de-squeeze and the ability to output RAW video over HDMI to allow for the external recording of Blackmagic RAW.
