Portkeys has expanded Wi-Fi and/or Type-C camera control for popular camera models from Sony (A7M5, A9III, FX6, PXW-Z380), Nikon (ZR, Z8, Z9), Canon (R5II, R6III, C50, R1, C400, C80), Panasonic (GH7).

Bluetooth control support for the Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K has also been added.

For the Sony FX3, FX30, and FX2 cameras, you can now switch between Shutter angle and Shutter Speed settings.

There is also resolution control for Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K and a recording duration display for Sony cameras.

With a single Portkeys monitor equipped with wireless control compatibility, you can simultaneously control up to four Portkeys monitors (built-in wireless camera control function) within 50m. This enables parameter adjustment and touch focus control across different camera brands and models.

Note: When one-to-many Collaborative Control is enabled on the LS7P, it cannot connect to Sony A7M5, FX6, or PXW-Z380 via Wi-Fi.

Enhanced camera control functionality

Users can adjust ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance, AF mode, and recording directly from the monitor.

User Interface & Customization

  • Added customization of length and thickness for Crosshair.
  • Added customization of thickness for Guide Frame and Grid Lines.
  • New languages: added Italian.
  • The Anamorphic function has been moved from the Image to the Function page, similarly to the Image Flip function. Addition of full-screen and position adjustment capabilities.

  • Color Bars are now available in Log Stops UI.
  • Stretch Leg mode: “Exit” key now clears the screen, and “Confirm” key wakes up the UI.
  • Auto Screen-Off feature when no input signal is detected.
  • Gesture Zoom has been added to the function list.

Monitoring & Image Analysis Enhancements

  • Log Stops function improvements: option to hide charts, automatic synchronization of Sony camera LOG data, detection of pre-LUT features, and the option to load LUTs for faster LUT worklow.
  • Support for displaying user-added LUT files directly on-screen.
  • Dynamic Range control added to System Settings.
  • Independent switches for calibration data, including DCI-P3 and D65.
  • New color calibration tool for select models: Calman integration, compatible with all major color probes, including Datacolor, Jeti, SpectraCal, and X-Rite spectral color measurement solutions.

LOG STOPS

Based on the camera’s STOP data, the LOG signal is automatically identified and accurately divided into multiple exposure level zones, and the exposure status is visualized by percentage histograms, zebra, and false color. Each exposure level can be displayed in a customized mode (false color or zebra) and can be individually enabled or disabled. This helps the filmmakers to get a more accurate image exposure, with at-a-glance exposure information and support for personalization to ensure that every frame is perfectly rendered in detail. It can show up to 19 exposure level zones.

After connecting the camera, the monitor automatically identifies the LOG profile from various camera brands and loads the matched exposure data — no manual set required. With intuitive exposure visuals, by quickly displays exposure data and image information, significantly improving shooting efficiency.
