Moderated by acclaimed cinematographer Stuart Dryburgh ASC, this special event explores Dynan’s creative approach to visual storytelling, his collaboration with director Oliver Hermanus, and the visual language behind “The History of Sound.”
Dynan shares insights into his cinematographic process, camera and lens choices, and the challenges of shaping an intimate, character-driven film.
Directed by Oliver Hermanus and starring Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor, The History of Sound premiered in competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
