SmallRig has announced a new Cage Kit for the DJI Osmo Action 6. The cage kit was designed to provide extra protection for the camera.
Dual metal cages and the tempered glass screen protector have been custom-engineered for the camera, ensuring compatibility without obstructing buttons, ports, or touch sensitivity. Full-cover metal cages resist impacts and scratches; the 3-in-1 tempered glass shields front/rear screens and lens from wear, fingerprints, and impacts, with IK03 impact resistance certification.
The cage features multiple mounts (cold shoe, 1/4″-20 holes, quick-release mounts) for accessories like lights/mics; the protector’s ultra-thin design (0.46mm) maintains full touchscreen functionality.
The battery can be replaced without cage removal. There is also a bubble-free protector installation with included cleaning tools, and wrist straps (from cage kits) for secure handheld use.
