BAGSIDE Dolly Slider First Look at IBC 2025

At IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, a new German company called BAGSIDE was showing its Dolly Slider. It was also showcasing a prototype of an upcoming motor attachment.

The BAGSIDE Dolly Slider is a complete kit that comes in a rolling hard case. You get 2.4m / 7.87′ of track, a dolly with a native Mitchell plate, as well as 150mm, 100mm, and 75mm bowl adaptors. There are also two stand adaptors.

The whole kit in the case weighs around 37kg; however, if you want to check it in on a plane, you can simply take out the joining connectors for the track to get it under 32kg.

The Dolly Slider was very well made, and the track pieces that attach together don’t show any visible joins. I tried the system out on the show floor, and it was very smooth and easy to use.

The Dolly itself features magnetic wheels and safety locks. It can be easily inverted to obtain lower shots, and Bagside is also working on making an adapter so you could get a camera even lower to the ground.

The motor attachment will be able to be controlled via a PlayStation controller or through an app. You will be able to change the speed and set A and B points, etc.

Pricing & Availability

The BAGSIDE Dolly Slider will retail for 1,500 Euros for the whole kit (without the motor). It isn’t listed yet on BAGSIDE’s website, but if you are interested, you can reach out to them.

BAGSIDE also makes the Bagstation – XL, a well-thought-out camera cart as well.

The Bagstation XL by BAGSIDE is the top model for the film industry, boasting a 250 kg weight capacity and a lightweight, sturdy aluminum frame. This fully customizable camera cart features four hand-folded 10-inch pneumatic tires for easy maneuverability. Two additional wheels facilitate transport when folded. Quick setup and breakdown (2 minutes, no tools required) and convenient storage in the included case. The fold-out side wall allows for easy conversion into a workstation with protective carpet mats on each floor.
