At IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, Easyrig has announced a wide array of new accessories. These include a new Padded Belt Extender, Quick Release, Spacer, Boom Rig Flex vest, and a Battery Plate for boom poles.
Padded Belt Extender (Part.No: EA160)
Easyrig has made a belt extender that fits the Minimax, Minimax Flex, Cinema & Cinema Flex vests. This belt extender not only extends the range of the straps, but it also provides you with added support around your stomach. If you have any of the mentioned vests and feel like more support is needed, this is the accessory for you.
NEW 2025 Quick Release (Part.No: EA033-Q)
The Quick Release has been updated. Since the original quick-release was launched, some users experienced problems with easily getting it on and off the ball stud on the camera. This new design allows it to be more easily attached and detached from the ball stud, and it’s now a sleeker and more intuitive design. Easyrig has decided not to increase the cost of the quick release due to this change.
Spacer (Part.No: EA033-S)
Developed together with Ambassador Niklas Johansson, FSF, the spacer for quick release is now officially launched. When working with heavy setups, getting your fingers around the housing of the quick-release can be hard. Now, you can pull down the quick release with ease.
Boom Rig Flex vest (Part.No: BF102)
The Boom Rig Flex vest is now released. It can be ordered by itself or as a complete Boom Rig (BF100). The Boom Rig Flex is the same as the original Boom Rig vest, but with added support and adjustability around the chest area. Developed for female operators, but can be used by anyone. Same cost as the original Boom Rig.
Battery Plate for boom poles (Part.No: B160)
The battery plate is made for Boom Rig users who attach a light to a boom pole instead of a microphone. With this plate, you can add a V-mount and a V-mount battery to power the lamp, and it also functions as a counterweight.
