Prism Lens FX has introduced new Phantom and Spectre Handheld Filters. These are interesting filters that are designed to create unique effects, and they would be useful for creating specific in-camera shots.
Handheld Phantom FX Filter
The Handheld Phantom FX Filter is available in 100mm and 150mm sizes and in strengths of half and full.
The Phantom FX filter creates a ghosting motion blur / “slow shutter” effect right in camera when held directly in front of your lens.
The handheld design allows you to move it in front of your lens, enabling you to get the exact look you are going for.
Prism Lens FX offers 2 different sizes and strengths. The 150mm is geared more for larger cinema setups, while our 100mm is more compact and ideal for smaller form factor setups.

Handheld Spectre FX Filter
The Handheld Spectre FX features a unique design where it maintains the center subject in perfect focus, while the 4 outer edges of the glass create a ghosting motion blur effect.
The handheld design lets you control your image, allowing you full control to dodge, move, and manipulate the exact effect you are going for. The handle also features a 1/4-20 if you prefer to mount it instead.
