SWIT has officially launched its new K7 monitor, which we first saw as a prototype way back in April at NAB. The K7 is a 7″ on-camera monitor with a claimed brightness of 2800nits. It features an optically bonded Full HD touchscreen in an all-metal body with rubber corner guards.
It has a 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 4K60p input and loop output with built-in SDI/HDMI cross conversion, dual hot-swap NP-F battery slots. 2-pin LEMO 7-34V and USB-C PD power, as well as built-in LUTs and the ability to import your own through an SD card.

Full-metal construction
The K7 features an all-metal housing and protective rubber corner guards. The touchscreen, scroll/enter control, and function keys provide direct access to monitor tools.
SDI & HDMI for mixed camera workflows
The 3G/HD-SDI and HDMI 2.0 provide input and loop output, with built-in conversion between the formats. HDMI accepts signals up to 4K60p; the display panel is 1920 x 1080 Full HD.
Power Options
Two NP-F slots support hot-swapping and battery-level display. External power is accepted through a 2-pin LEMO at 7-34V DC or USB-C PD at 9-20V.
LUT workflow, capture & image-assist tools
The K7 supports built-in DeLog LUTs, user LUT import via SD card, and LUT output over SDI and HDMI. The included 4GB SD card can store LUTs, firmware, and captured still images.
A screenshot can be saved to the SD card and recalled as a reference image overlay with adjustable transparency. For exposure and focus checks, the K7 includes peaking, zebra with IRE adjustment from -7 to +109, and false color with ARRI or Spectrum modes, alongside waveform, vector, histogram, scale markers, grids, and safe-area guides.
Touch operation, vertical rigs & anamorphic monitoring
The multi-touch screen works alongside a scroll/enter control, two function keys, and touch lock. Gestures open the main menu and Quick Tools, adjust backlight and volume, and enable quick zoom.
For specialized camera builds, the on-screen display can be rotated or flipped to suit vertical rig configurations. Custom anamorphic de-squeeze ratios from 0.5x to 2x support a range of lens workflows. Four-channel audio meters and a 3.5mm audio output add audio monitoring to the same on-camera display.
