The IDX A-VCAP is a simple solution for covering your V-mount battery terminals to help prevent short circuits.
If you are actually following regulations when flying, insulation is required to prevent terminal shorts. The whole concept behind the A-VCAP is so that you don’t need to place tape over the terminals. I always place tape on terminals and put batteries in individual plastic sealed bags when I fly.

The A-VCAP features a hole for attaching a strap or similar accessory so it doesn’t get lost.

The IDX A-VCAP is arguably overkill, and using tape is a far more affordable way of covering the terminals, but for rental houses, they may be a good solution.
3D Film Parts also has a V-Lock Battery Terminal Cap that costs $22 USD for a pack of 10.
Pricing & Availability
