RED has put out its latest RED Tech episode, called Getting Started with the KOMODO-X. Cleigh from RED takes you through the fundamentals of setting up a RED KOMODO-X and building an exposure strategy designed to get the most from the camera.
The episode covers project settings, sensor format, project time base, recording frame rate, recording format (R3D or ProRes), and R3D quality (HQ, MQ, LQ and ELQ). It also goes into ISO, dynamic range, RAW monitoring tools, false color, and color temperature.
