OSEE’s GoStream Omni 12 ISO shipped about a month before IBC 2026, after a preview at NAB the year before. This was the first chance to see the finished, shipping version in person. We caught up with OSEE’s Richard on the show floor for a walkthrough of what it can do.
What it is
Richard described the Omni 12 ISO as the Duet 8 ISO, OSEE’s earlier switcher, rebuilt from the ground up. It has 8 hybrid inputs that each accept SDI or HDMI (not 8 dedicated SDI ports plus 8 dedicated HDMI ports), 4 AUX inputs for NDI, SRT, RTMP, or webcam sources, and 4 assignable outputs (2 HDMI, 2 SDI). Recording and live streaming both currently top out at 1080p60, even though HDMI inputs accept up to 4K60.

Live demo details
Richard ran through a few things on the panel that go beyond the spec sheet:
Output routing on the fly. Any of the 4 outputs can be reassigned to a different source live, on the panel, without touching program or recording. Richard’s example: a venue running multiple screens off the same switcher can rehang one output to a different camera mid-show while the recorded/streamed program keeps running untouched.
Stinger transitions. The stinger runs through what would otherwise be Player 1 (one of the two built-in media players separate from the 8 main inputs), so using a stinger transition takes that player channel out of other use. Hitting Auto plays the stinger over the cut; the switcher goes to preview, then program, and the stinger clears on its own without anyone swapping a clip in and out manually.
Instant replay. The Omni 12 ISO can continuously record a rolling buffer off a chosen input (Richard had it set to input 7) and hold the last six seconds. Triggering playback (in Player 2) plays that buffer back, at half speed in Richard’s demo, since half speed needs a 50p or 60p source to look clean, then cuts away automatically once the replay finishes. Since the stinger lives in Player 1 and replay lives in Player 2, Richard showed the two combined, a stinger reading “REPLAY” cutting to the slow-motion clip, essentially a sports-style replay package from one box.
PTZ control. Built-in PTZ control works over Ethernet with any brand of PTZ camera on the same network, not just OSEE’s own.
Audio
The Omni 12 ISO has 2 XLR mic/line inputs with phantom power plus a 3.5mm input that can be split to add two more mic channels. As of a firmware update that shipped the same day as this interview, ISO recording now also captures 4 channels of WAV audio alongside the video.
