edelkrone’s new Dolly GO was designed to be a portable, motorized camera dolly for use with gimbals and smaller camera setups.
Your total setup (camera, lens, and gimbal) should be under 2.3kg / 5.07 lb, although edelkrone recommends a load capacity of up to 1.7 kg / 3.75 lb for the best results.
It works with most gimbals for automated tracking shots, or you can mount a camera directly to it for repeatable movement. The maximum speed of the Dolly GO is 30 cm/s (approximately 0.98 ft/sec).

As the Dolly GO is essentially a motorized base, it does not rely on a specific electronic connection to the gimbal itself; instead, it moves the entire gimbal rig along a path, allowing the gimbal’s built-in tracking features to keep the subject framed. It will work with DJI Osmo Pocket series and Insta360 cameras, smartphone gimbals such as the DJI Osmo Mobile series, camera gimbals like the DJI RS series, as well as 360 cameras, action cameras, or standard DSLR/mirrorless cameras mounted on a tripod head.

The Dolly GO allows users to create linear, arc, and free-form movements on any smooth, flat surface. It is best to work on tabletops or smooth indoor floors. It is not intended for use on uneven ground, carpet, or rough outdoor terrain, as the motorized system requires a flat plane to maintain smooth, repeatable motion control.
edlekrone states that it is a good option for anyone who wants to do film themselves and have camera movement while staying perfectly framed.
As far as how to use it is concerned, you can manually show the device camera positions, which it then connects into a smooth path. It can also be controlled via the edelkrone app.
The Dolly GO can be powered by dual Sony NP-F style batteries.
If you want to use it for doing time-lapses or stop motion, it features a built-in 2.5mm shutter trigger socket, which allows you to connect your camera to the dolly. The shutter trigger cable is sold separately.
