Saramonic has unveiled the K9 XTX digital UHF plug-on wireless transmitter, designed for solo and small-sized crews, sound recordists, and anyone else who needs to use a handheld wireless microphone. It integrates directly with the Saramonic K9 digital UHF wireless audio system.
The K9 XTX utilizes the wideband 550–960 MHz UHF platform with GPS-based regional frequency coordination. This simplifies deployment across different countries while delivering more stable long-range performance than typical 2.4 GHz systems.

The K9 XTX supports XLR microphones and line-level devices with selectable 3V / 5V / 12V / 24V / 48V phantom power, making it compatible with a wide range of shotgun microphones, boom setups, handheld interview microphones, and field recorders.
It also offers 32-bit float onboard recording with 64GB of internal storage. This is handy as you can recover audio if there is suddenly a big change in the audio levels, and it also provides a backup track in case of RF dropouts or there is interference.
The TX offers wireless timecode synchronization.
The claimed operating range of the K9 XTX is 150m / 492′.
Through the Saramonic System App, users can remotely manage up to 48 devices, group systems, update firmware, activate sleep mode, and coordinate frequencies.
The K9 XTX is powered by AA batteries with support for USB-C external power. Saramonic claims that the XTX can be run for up to 7+ hours.
