Bright Tangerine has posted up a new video that provides a good overview of their modular accessory ecosystem designed for the Canon C50.
The foundation of the C50 system starts with a bottom plate that features a magnetized screwdriver and an Arca dovetail that allows for quick transitions between tripod and handheld shooting.
The right side plate adds protection while remaining comfortable, and the left side rail provides a hand grip, access to ports (USB-C/HDMI), and a recessed edge for using drop-in filters.
Two versions of the Top Plate are available. There is one that allows access to the camera’s multi-function shoe, and the other that wraps around the stock XLR handle.
Bright Tangerine offers four kits that offer various levels of functionality.
- Essentials & Base Kits
- Halo Kit: Adds a universal dovetail system for compatibility with Manfrotto tripods and DJI gimbals.
- Left Field Mini Kit: This solution features a baseplate at 15mm LWS height and an “open-up” system for tactile, fast camera adjustments.
Additional Accessories Available
- NATO clamp for vertical shooting.
- Top handle cheese plate for extra mounting points.
- Handle extension for the stock handle.
