LCcineND now available to order

LCCINE

The LCcineND is finally available to order from KipperTie. If you are not familiar with LCcineND, it provides 1.5 to 5 stops of infinitely variable, super-precise, remote-controllable ND that you can place in a standard single-slot 4 x 5.65″ mattebox tray.

Key features

  • Infinitely variable ND between 0.45 and 2.1  (1½ to 5 stops)
  • Minimal color shift and polarisation artifacts
  • Bluetooth control with dedicated iOS app
  • Robust CNC-machined anodised aluminum construction
  • Individually calibrated for precision
  • Minimum 24-hour runtime between charges
  • Open LCcommand API for simple customised remote control, wired or wireless

It has no polarising issues, no cables or separate boxes, just one slot required.

A robust silent rotating control wheel allows for precise adjustments, supported by individual calibration for high consistency. The control wheel also features a MOD0.8 gear profile for easy integration with industry-standard lens motors. Users can select ND increments of full, half, third, and quarter stops, or use the fine mode to make even more precise adjustments.

There is also a dedicated iOS app that connects via Bluetooth, where you can make all of these adjustments remotely and even rack the ND smoothly during a live take.

On the LCcineND, there is also a small daylight-readable OLED display that shows you all of the key information. Internally powered, the LCcineND can be charged or powered at any time via USB-C, and it doesn’t require power from a camera or battery.

Colour accuracy and internal consistency across the ND range are claimed to be excellent. The adjustment to accommodate the ND when changing from no filter installed is just a small magenta correction.

Each LCcineND ships in a custom-made reinforced microfibre pouch, plus a robust foam-lined hard case for transport. A USB-A to C charging cable is also included.
