DZOFilm has unveiled its new Marlin 1.4x Expander available in PL to Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and Leica L variants. It allows you to use S35 PL lenses on full-frame sensors.

It is important to note that the 1.4x expander only supports lenses with a T-stop of 2.8 and higher. DZOFilm states that there is under 1-stop of light loss.
The Marlin 1.4x Expander is claimed to maintain image quality without decreasing resolution, using high refractive-index SR optical elements and large-diameter aspherical lenses.
The Marlin 1.4x Expander’s front and rear stainless steel mounts are CNC machined, preventing metal binding and ensuring long-term stability and accuracy even after repeated use.
Internal flocking is claimed to reduce reflections and help control chromatic aberration.
