Sony has released new firmware updates for the a7S III and a7 IV. For the a7S III, the new firmware is Ver. 5.01, and for the a7 IV it is Ver. 6.02.

a7S III Ver. 5.01

  • Fixed an issue where part of the green frame indicating the autofocus status was not displayed when using ‘Extended Spot’.
  • Improved operational stability.

a7 IV Ver. 6.02

  • Resolved an issue where focus bracketing might not work in certain situations.
  • Improved operational stability.
