According to Cooke, the AP3 brings the optical pedigree of Cooke’s high-end anamorphic lineage into a compact, lightweight series built for modern mirrorless cameras. Cooke claims that the AP3 series shares some characteristics with Cooke’s modern anamorphic S35 2x and FF 1.8x lenses. The lenses weigh between 1.2-1.4kg, depending on the focal length.
Cooke states that the optical philosophy balances controlled anamorphic character with clarity and dependability. The 1.5x squeeze factor is claimed to deliver the characteristics that epitomise anamorphic imaging while supporting a controlled, consistent image and strong wide-open performance. Transitions between focus planes are claimed to have an organic continuity

The AP3 series consists of three focal lengths: 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm. All the lenses are T2.4, and they feature dual focus scales. The AP3 series has a standardised 0.8 MOD focus and iris drive gears. All lenses have a fixed common front diameter of 87mm and a common filter thread diameter of 82mm. Every AP3 lens is coated with a scratch-resistant finish.
The lenses feature a user-interchangeable mount so you can adapt them to specific camera kits.

The lenses are fitted with Sony E mounts, and there is a second mount (RF, L, or M) that comes free of charge.
Pricing & Availability

The lenses will retail for $7,500 USD each. The three-lens set is $22,250 USD. The AP3 will undoubtedly offer excellent image quality, but the market for people wanting to pay that sort of money for a mirrorless mount lens is arguably pretty small.
