Aputure has released Sidus Link Pro 2.3, an update to its professional lighting control application for iPad. This major update introduces the 3D Visualizer, a new 3D environment for planning, previewing, and controlling lighting setups, alongside Auto-Patching and Auto-Configuration support for all INFINIMAT fixtures and cue editing enhancements.
With 3D Visualizer, users can build a scene by placing lights, characters, and props, then preview how light plays, configure DMX settings, and program cues, before stepping on set. By bringing previs directly into the Sidus Link Pro workflow, the update makes it easier to visualize your ideas, review options with clients, and prepare well before you start setting up lights.

Patched fixtures appear automatically, and cues and DMX settings carry through from planning to execution. This update makes Sidus Link Pro the only iPad app that brings lighting 3D visualization and control together in a single workflow. The only other alternatives include combining multiple tools or utilizing integrated 3D pre-visualization built into complex high-end consoles.
In addition to 3D Visualizer, Sidus Link Pro 2.3 adds Auto-Patching and Auto-Configuration support for all INFINIMAT fixtures, helping users get INFINIMATs set up faster when updated to Firmware V1.4.
The release also enhances cue editing by bringing all the tools available in Stage into the cue editing workflow, creating a more unified programming experience.
Pricing & Availability

Sidus Link Pro 2.3 is available now for iPad on the App Store. 3D Visualizer is available in the Pro plan for $10 USD /month, with MAX adding support for 4 universes of control.
