Sony FX30 Firmware Update Ver. 6.01

Sony has released the FX30 Firmware Update Ver. 6.01. This is a minor update, and it optimizes user LUT processing and improves the camera’s overall performance and stability.

This comes almost 6 months after Sony released Firmware)Update Ver. 6.00, which, just like the update for the FX3, added the BIG6 setting to the home screen, bringing it into line with other digital cinema cameras in Sony’s lineup.

It also added 1.5x and 1.6x anamorphic de-squeeze and the ability to output RAW video over HDMI to allow for the external recording of Blackmagic RAW.
