Canon RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM Firmware Update Version 2.0.7

Canon Japan has released firmware Version 2.0.7 for the RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM. This firmware incorporates the following enhancements and fixes.

Added an electronic full-time manual focus function (enabling manual focus adjustment at any time during both One-Shot AF and Servo AF). This function becomes active when paired with compatible camera models.
Added functionality to operate the focus ring as a control ring. When assigned aperture control during video recording, for example, this allows operation without concern for click noise. This function is enabled when paired with compatible camera models.
Other operational stability improvements have been implemented.

If the lens firmware is already Version 2.0.7, no firmware change is necessary.
