This system gives your HDMI camera output a built-in fiber port, which can be useful for video village setups, OB trucks, or remote feeds.

Key features

  • Converts HDMI 2.0/2.1 to MPO Fiber
  • Supports up to 8K60 or 4K120, 4:4:4 color
  • HDR10 & Dolby Vision support
  • Lossless, zero-latency transmission (2ns)
  • Ultra-compact TX/RX units
  • Rugged build for field or broadcast use
  • USB-C or magnetic POGO pin power

You can mount the TX unit directly to your camera using:

  • Gold Mountor V-Mount Battery Plate Pro (with magnetic POGO power for a truly wireless feel)
  • Or secure it via 1/4″-20 or 3/8″-16 screws with locating pins powering with a USB-C power source.

You can use the RX straight out of the box as a rubber-footed desktop unit, or hard-mount to monitors, tripods, or DIT carts via ARRI-standard 3/8″-16 mounts.

If you need to scale up, you can slot up to 9 RX units into a single 1U rack, which is useful for multi-cam OB truck setups or control rooms.

Typical Cable Run Scenarios for a HDMI-to-Fiber System

On-Set Camera to Video Village

  • Range50–100 feet
  • Why: Large stages, outdoor locations, and backlot setups often place DIT/video village well away from cameras. Fiber eliminates SDI/HDMI range limits without adding latency or bulk.

Soundstage & Studio Builds

  • Range100–300 feet
  • Why: Permanent or semi-permanent installations inside studios benefit from clean fiber routing, especially when running multiple 4K/8K signals over high ceilings or through conduits.

Live Event, Venue, Theater AV

  • Range300–500 feet
  • Why: Larger venues need to span FOH to stage, backstage areas, or control booths.

Broadcast & OB Truck Multicam

  • Range500–1000 feet
  • Why: Fiber becomes essential when working on location (sports, concerts) where cable paths snake through crowds or long-distance venues.
