At Cine Gear 2025, SIGMA showed the newly announced 28-105mm T3 FF AF Cine Zooms, which are in development,. There are two versions, the other being the 28-45mm T2 AF.
The Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF will be available in November 2025, and the Sigma 28-105mm T3 FF will be available in Spring 2026. The lenses will be available in Sony E and Leica L mounts.
According to Sigma, the new zooms build on the optical system of the Art lenses, and they offer exceptional rendering performance, along with high-precision autofocus with excellent tracking capabilities.

Inheriting the rendering performance and reliability of Sigma’s Art lenses, the AF Cine Line integrates cinema-style mechanics and operability, optimized for professional cinema production. They feature a limited-rotation focus ring, industry-standard 0.8M pitch gears, and a clickless aperture ring.

The 95mm front outside diameter is compatible with numerous industry-standard matte boxes, and it accepts 86mm screw-on filters. A 1/4″-20 thread allows you to utilize optional lens mounts for a stable setup. Markings in both feet and meters make it compatible with a wide variety of productions.
