Godox AM1600R

At Cine Gear 2025 in Los Angeles, Godox was showing a prototype of its yet-to-be-released AM1600R. The AM1600R is a giant 8′ x 8′ flexible RGBWW flexible panel light with an inflatable softbox.

The AM1600R, as the name suggests, draws 1600W. It is said to be very quick to set up, and it looks like a good solution if you need a large overhead lighting source or a big soft source.

It comes with a separate power supply/controller.

The light will also be available in a 4′ x 8′ version.

Pricing & Availability

The Godox AM1600R should be available within the next 1-2 months. The retail price is expected to be $9,000 USD for the 8′ x 8′ version.
