I caught up with a company called Custom Sync Slates at Cine Gear 2025 in Los Angeles. The company, which is based in Idaho, has been around for more than 20 years, and they can make custom slates with artwork within 24 hours.
While these are just basic slates with no timecode functionality, putting a logo or artwork on one is a good idea for certain productions.
Ordering
1. Email your artwork PDF, CDR, AI, PSD, EPS, high-res JPEG, PNG
2. Approve proof. We will email a proof and price to you within 24 hours (usually sooner). Check the proof and email us back with your approval (or any changes if needed).
3. Make payment. Once we receive your okay on the final proof we will forward an invoice to you via PayPal. Once payment is received, your order will be printed. Most orders will be completed and shipped within 24 hours after the final proof has been approved by you and payment has been received.
