Hawk-Woods has announced its new BP-98X BP-U Style battery for Sony and Blackmagic cameras. This is a 98Wh 6806mAh battery that would provide plenty of run time for low-power draw cameras while also providing plenty of outputs to run camera accessories.

The BP-98X includes a powerful 45W USB-C port, ideal for charging devices like laptops, tablets, or smartphones quickly. It also supports charging the battery itself through this port, adding extra convenience.
In addition to USB-C, the BP-98X is equipped with a 12W USB-A port (5V, up to 2.4A), perfect for powering smaller devices such as smartphones, tablets, or portable lights. This ensures you’re ready for multiple charging needs on set.
Equipped with two D-Tap ports, this battery can power various accessories simultaneously, offering unregulated 11-16.8V output—features usually found in larger V-mount or G-mount batteries.
The BP-98X comes with a clear four-LED power gauge and a straightforward button interface, making it easy to check your battery levels at a glance.
With 98Wh capacity and 6600mAh, this battery is built for extended use, reducing the need for frequent recharges and supporting longer filming sessions with ease
