The REDCINE-X Pro (MAC & Windows) Beta Versions have added Nikon N-RAW Support. We are slowly starting to see some more signs that the RED acquisition by Nikon is leading to some integration and changes with both companies. Late last year, Nikon released LUTs that were made in conjunction with RED.
This latest Beta of RCX now supports N-RAW .nev clips and puts them natively into the RED IPP2 workflow with a colorspace of REDWideGamutRGB and Log3G10.
For Nikon users, this allows for transcoding, rendering, framing, etc. all through RCX. This is a big step forward even when a lot of people may still be wondering when .R3D support will come to future Nikon cameras.
