Noxon Camera Motion Systems is showing a sneak peek of their upcoming Noxon Arm. This looks to be a relatively affordable solution for those who want to do robotic-type moves but find systems from MRMC way out of reach. As far as the moving speed goes, I would keep your expectations low because it’s very complicated to get speed without making the price go really high.
The Noxon Arm supports camera payloads of up to 6kg and it looks like an interesting solution if you are shooting products, stop motion, or even live events.
Noxon claims that the arm is accurate to within a hundredth of a mm so it can do consistent repeatable moves.
The Standard 3/8″ mount allows it to be used on quite a few tripod systems and it can support up to 30kg of weight.
There is a remote controller and the system doesn’t work with any apps.

The controller has an operating range of up to 100m / 330′.

There are four operating modes you can choose from depending on your requirements. You also have the ability to set up to four key frames.

Price & Availability

The first batch of the Noxom Arm sold out within 10 minutes. The pre-order price is listed as 5,600 Euros.
