Sound Devices has released the A20-SuperNexus v2.00.01 firmware update. This update adds features such as revamped RF-level equalizer for vastly improved multi-path performance and added protection against audio noise occurring with Q below zero.

NOTE: If updating an A20-SuperNexus from v1.00, any attached A20-Opto needs to be physically unlinked and removed during the update. Versions v1.01 of A20-SuperNexus and above do not require this step.
Changes
- Revamped RF-level equalizer for vastly improved multi-path performance.
- Added protection of audio noise occurring with Q below zero.
- Range of RSSI bar meters changed to –100 to –65 dBm.
- Ability to see RF History Q levels even when ‘approaching overload’ (yellow) and ‘overload’ (red) occur. The ‘approaching overload’ and ‘overload’ vertical lines are now the height of the Q level instead of full height.
- Default Sync Ref setting is now ‘Optocore In’ when an A20-Opto is first connected.
Fixes
- Fixed issue where low-level ‘phantom’ spurs could appear on the RTSA display.
- Fixed issue where Optocore Speed ‘2G’ default setting would not be recalled.
