Laowa is teasing a new upcoming Zoom Probe Lens with an Ultra-Wide 15mm perspective, wider focal range, and the ability to shoot from more dynamic angles.
Laowa, who originally came up with the 24mm f/14 Probe, Periprobe, and 24mm T8 Pro2be, which have been copied by a few other companies will launch their Zoom Probe Lens in Q2 of 2025.
The new lens will feature a 2.3x zoom range (which is claimed to be parfocal) as well as Direct, Periscope, and 35-degree Tilt View attachments.
Building on its predecessors, this new lens combines the same signature advantages with industry-first features, to deliver unmatched versatility and creative control for cinematographers and photographers alike. According to Laowa, it was specifically designed to outperform competitors and exceed market expectations.
